I was taking an advanced Photoshop course, the first assignment was

to do a self portrait, and for those of us who were artists , we were to

incorporate our art and photography. This is my self portrait, (now my

family are after me to finish the painting of myself I started which is

still sitting on my easel).

The answer to the cartoon is "yes" . A portrait painting should be true to

who the person is, both inside and outside. The challenge is to have them

look the way they see themselves, the way those close to them

see them and the way I see them. But the true purpose of a portrait

is to have a heirloom to be handed down to future generations that

shows the personality and spirit of the person, while looking their best physically.

(this applies to pets and horses as well)

I only accept a limited number of people portraits a year, but if you have any

questions, just email or phone and I'll do my best to answer them.
